The Ervin Spot Check Kit is a simple and effective assessment tool to ensure a perfect finish to your work piece. Good process control leads to output with the highest productivity and also the lowest cost.
The most effective operating mix is balanced between larger and smaller size particles, to provide both impact and coverage to your work piece. Whilst the ideal mix of sizes will give you the highest productivity with the lowest costs, an unbalanced mix can lead to:
• Poor clean
• Increased blast times
• Incorrect surface roughness profile
Using the Ervin Spot Check Kit as part of your regular process controls can help you avoid problems and regulate your operating mix. Highly portable and using a very simple traffic light system, the kit will identify within 5 minutes if the abrasive inside your blast machine is coarse, fine or ideal.
